Dallas’s Newest Specialty Coffee Enclave: Method Caffeination & Fare

Method coffee in east dallas

The site of Method: Coffee & Fare, to open this Spring in East Dallas.

There is some very cool stuff happening in Dallas. In the past year alone, we’ve seen the opening of Ascension, a coffee and wine bar in the Design District, the opening of Oak Cliff’s first retail space, and last month the launch of a new micro Full City Rooster.

For more on the goings on among the specialty coffee community in Dallas, check out Dallas Coffee Collective, which recently broke the story about East Dallas’s newest planned arrival, Method: Caffeination & Fare, at the corner of Ross Avenue and Hall St.

A project of Louie Corwin, who cut his specialty coffee teeth while working at Dallas’s Pearl Cup, Method will feature coffees from Dallas-based house roaster Novel Coffee, as well as a monthly rotating espresso, and brewed and bagged coffees from some of Corwin’s favorite roasters throughout the country, including Corvus, Ritual, Heart, Commonwealth, Novo, Boxcar and Herkimer. In his Q&A with Dallas Coffee Collective, Corwin says the bar will feature Dallas’s first Slayer espresso machine, while coffees will be brewed in Chemex pourovers, in the Espro Press French press, and Aeropress.

Corwin initially planned to have the buildout completed by now, but Eater Dallas says to look out for the shop this Spring. Read the full Q&A with Dallas Coffee Collective.
