The talented and creative team of food documentarians behind Los Angeles-based Life & Thyme is setting up its first pop-up coffee bar this Saturday, May 17, at at Apartment A in the downtown arts district.
The coffee program will be run by L.A.-based micro Compelling & Rich and owner Kian Abedini, offering a creative menu based around some of the roaster’s Spring coffees. Drinks will include a Life & Thyme-inspired iced coffee, Turkish lattes, a honey-processed Panama Geisha, a Chinese Yunnan, a Malawi AA, other “off-menu” coffees, and a tapped cold brew.

Life & Thyme has had some lovely coffee coverage lately, including profiles of Stumptown’s L.A. roastery and San Francisco’s Saint Frank. Its inaugural coffee pop-up is free to attend (cost-defraying donations welcome, RSVP here), and will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
