United Arab Emirates-based roasting company Coffee Planet has opened its first full-service coffee shop in its home city of Dubai.

At the Circle Mall in the Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), the new shop has arrived through a franchise partnership with a Dubai-born hospitality startup known as Dash Hospitality Group (styled by the company as DASH).

The coffee company has suggested that the location will be the first of many ventures in partnership with Dash, a new entity grown from a Dubai construction business with experience in food-and-beverage facilities.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Coffee Planet had signaled plans to advance its retail footprint, after growing steadily as a full-service wholesale and direct-to-consumer roasting company since its founding in 2005.
