Innoroc, the German company behind the Übermilk line of commercial automatic milk frothers, has introduced Beyond, an umbrella equipment brand that includes Übermilk and the newly launched Plus X Collection of beverage equipment.

Innoroc unveiled the Beyond brand at the HostMilano show in Italy last year, with equipment offerings spanning milk, coffee, syrups and other dispensed beverages. The new Plus X Collection is a modular undercounter beverage platform.

Plus X

Plus X is built around an above-counter outlet head with a large touchscreen and an undercounter tech module that coordinates the platform’s other components.

Those additional components include Foam, a foamer for dairy and nondairy milks; Dispense, a doser and dispenser for syrups and other liquids; Coffee Classic, a customized Eversys Shotmaster; and Fast Shot, which serves coffee, tea and other concentrates in under three seconds, hot or cold, with adjustable dilution.

“The Plus X Collection is a modular system built around the barista, combining exactly the modules an operator needs today and tomorrow,” Maximilian Stock, Beyond director of strategy and operations, told Daily Coffee News.

Übermilk

The system grew out of the Übermilk platform as Innoroc engineers in Aachen expanded the company’s milk-foaming technology into a broader beverage platform.

Following the original rollout of Übermilk (now called Übermilk One), the company introduced Übermilk Plus at HostMilano in 2023 with an expanded platform for additional liquids.

“Beyond launched as our umbrella brand and sits across both product worlds, the Übermilk line and the Plus X Collection,” Stock said. “It stands for partnership, precision and holistic solutions for a drink culture that goes beyond coffee and milk.”

Stock said the company is now pursuing safety certifications for U.S. expansion, including NSF and UL.

The Beyond launch comes amid a broader commercial equipment push toward automation beyond espresso alone, with recent launches focused on automated milk steaming, steam-free milk foam, undercounter super-automatic espresso, undercounter super-automatic brewing, standalone milk dispensing and induction-heated milk frothing
