After selling out in its inaugural year, the consumer-focused Toronto Coffee & Tea Expo is returning to occupy a larger venue, with expanded program offerings and more vendors from throughout the Canadian coffee hub.
Taking place Saturday, April 14, and Sunday, April 15, at the Evergreen Brickworks Pavilions, the show will introduce hundreds of coffee- and tea-curious consumers to many of the city’s brightest baristas, roasters, distributors, coffee shop owners and coffee gear sellers.
In addition to the standard expo-style meandering, guests will also be treated to events such as: the “Best Cup Competition,” hosted by Shahir Massoud of the CBC daytime program “The Goods” and featuring celebrity judges from throughout Toronto’s culinary world; “Tea-it-Yourself” workshops led by tea expert Raelene Gannon; and hands-on espresso-making classes.
Organizers expect upward of 5,000 guests for this year’s expo. Tickets are $15 online, or $20 at the door, pending availability. Click here for a complete schedule and ticket information.
