Rumors of Santa Cruz, Calif.-based Verve Coffee Roasters appearance in New York have been floating around for awhile now, and it appears the company will be opening a three-month pop-up inside a trendy Williamsburg barber shop.

The Village Voice broke the story this morning, reporting that Verve plans to serve coffee inside Rudy’s Barber Shop from the beginning of November through January. The VV spoke with Verve owner Colby Barr:

Asked if Verve might be testing the waters for a permanent expansion to New York, Barr answers cagily, “I’ve learned in life that everything is a possibility. There’s potential for it to continue, but for sure we’ll be there through the holidays: November, December, January.”

He adds: “Its just really nice also to have this excuse to get to go and showcase what we’re doing in New York, because obviously, it’s one of the greatest cities in the world and we’re just stoked to come.”

Verve currently operates three Santa Cruz locations, with plans to come to Los Angeles.

Verve’s got some great blends, bro. I have a cup every time after I’m out hanging 10 on some killer waves. Kowabunga!
