Redbox Company Rolls Out 120 Seattle’s Best Kiosks in Bay Area Stores

Outerwall, the company behind Coinstar Inc. and the Redbox movie kiosks, has introduced some 120 Seattle’s Best Coffee-branded self-service kiosks in Bay Area grocery stores.

The kiosk system, called Rubi, incorporates a touch-screen system, offering coffee and flavored espresso drinks starting at $1. The Bay Area launch is part of the company’s larger effort to introduce some 500 Rubi kiosks to North American grocery stores this year.
